News fluency in The Rundown

In spring 2018, I worked on redesigning the Annenberg Media email newsletter for “news fluency,” which is reflected here in the gray boxes with blue headings that attempt to address reader questions inline. You can learn more about the goals of news fluency at the American Press Institute.

For this project, I worked with USC Annenberg professor Laura Davis, who wrote a long Medium piece explaining our process and efforts to increase reader trust.
